The desktop app isn't compatible on Mac Sonoma 14.5?
Hi,
I upgraded to Sonoma 14.5 and then the icon disappeared from the upper list and it says "the system doesn't support Dropbox". I tried to download the App., but it doesn´t work. Strangely enough it worked with Sonoma 14.4 (!).
Can you pls help?
Thanks!
Hi,
Thanks for the swift reply. Actually now it told me that it was too many computers (>3). Maybe that was also the problem yesterday, but the error message was different.
So it seems to be explained and solved!
Best wishes,
Kristian

Hello everyone,
I am trying to find a solution for my newly installed Sonoma 14.5 on my new M3 Macbook air. everything went smooth before when I was on Catalina, when I initiated my new Mac on Sonoma and tried to install Dropbox it's turning and turning to start and it never starts. I have the desktop app on two other computers. Can anyone help? I tried being patient at first, deleting and endlessly reinstalling the app to no avail. I'm sure there must be some bright ideas to get this going? Is it Apple? It's always appel. Thanks for any suggestion and help you can provide.

Have you tried installing the app using our offline installer that can be found here?
If not, give it a go and let me know how it goes.

Hi from me as well, Cristina! Do you mind sending over a screenshot of what you see exactly on your end? I’d like to have a visual and go from there.
Here’s how you can post it on the forum:

Hi Nancy, here's a screenshot of what's going on. Let me know if you need other information.
I do hope I will be able to reuse it on my new computer. Thank you again!
