Getting "Installation failed. The Dropbox installer failed to start." error on my desktop app.
Hi everyone,
I have this issue for almost two months now.
After some major Dropbox update somewhere at the end of April, if I'm not mistaking, I got continuous sync showing for thousands of files in my desktop app & tried to reinstall it (Windows 11). I get this message each time ever since. I'm not technician at all, tried different methods that I was suggested to do, including, antivirus stop, deep cleanup etc. Tried a stable version, suggested in other thread here in community, but nothing helps - I still get this message each time.
Please help me guys, it's very inconvenient, annoying and doesn't help my workflow at all. Please...
Have you tried an advanced reinstall? https://help.dropbox.com/installs/advanced-reinstall
What is the OS version?
