Is it possible to somehow see old sharing history of shared files? Something like 5 years ago I shared some files to specific persons (by entering their e-mail addresses), and I can't remember to whom I shared. Those files were deleted by me from Dropbox some time ago. But is it possible to history, to whom I shared such long time ago?23Views0likes1CommentI shared a file directory with my coworkers, but they can't access it from their local device.

i have been blocked from using my account for a week and support only answers one time per day (in the middle of the night in the US). Apparantely, they scrubbed my system (over 111,000 files) and found ONE LINK inside ONE .PDF (from 2022!) that they didn't like. And now they have blocked my account from usage for a week with completely ineffective customer service. Ticket #25301355: Dropbox Plus Support I am not sure what is happening with Dropbox, but they are quickly becoming a company that is unuseable for large companies. Since I removed the file in question (2 days ago!) I am still completely blocked from working. What am I paying for here? Is anyone else have new security issues with DB and sharing files, that they never had before?Solved128Views0likes7CommentsCan't share files. "We’ve interrupted your sharing activity" error.
Hello, I work for a company that provides two-way radio programming software downloads for our end-user customer base. We have multiple links on our Dropbox but only one is giving us an error. The following is what we're receiving after re-uploading the software to Dropbox: Can't Share File Error in call to API function /2/sharing/create_shared_link_with_settings: Sharing is restricted How do we resolve this issue? We need this fixed ASAP as it is effecting our day-to-day business needs and resources.131Views0likes3CommentsHaving issue opening my C4D files on a shared server.
Hi there I suddenly have an issue where I can't open any C4D (Cinema 4d) files from a shared server. I can open the files fine on the server machine itself and all other file types open fine from the server (Photoshop files, InDesign files etc) Is anyone else experiencing this issue? It literally happened overnight after many years of working seamlessly. I am using Windows 11 on all machines Many thanks, Tom128Views0likes8Comments'Something went wrong' error on shared links to my files
Whenever I share a link to a file on dropbox I get this error: This is appearing whenever I click share on any files. They are displaying OK within my dropbox view if I just click on a file name, it opens in a window on the right hand side. This is important as I am sharing documents with other people – at the moment they won't be able to access them. I have tested this with another browser where I am not signed in and the error still shows. I have tried with PDFs and a JPG. Files are shared publically, so no idea what the issue is. There is no status update either.77Views0likes5CommentsI can't share a file, my sharing activity has been suspended
Hello, After years of not using my Dropbox account I logged in and when I tried to share a file I was greeted with: Error in call to API function 2 sharing create shared link with settings: We’ve suspended your sharing activity because of a violation of Dropbox’s Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy, and Terms of Service or Services Agreement. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You52Views0likes3Comments"We’ve paused your sharing activity" error message when trying to share content.
Hello, I'm experiencing an issue with my Dropbox account. I recently integrated Dropbox with Make (formerly Integromat) to automate the upload of invoice PDFs (from Zoho Invoices) into a Dropbox folder. The upload process worked fine, but in the following module to generate a shared link , I received this error: [409] banned_member/.. We have suspended your sharing activity due to a violation of the Terms of Service and the Acceptable Use Policy, as well as the Dropbox Terms of Service or Services Agreement. Additionally, when I try to manually share files from my account via the web interface, I get the message: “Sharing could not be completed – We have interrupted the sharing of your files.” To my knowledge, my usage has been very limited and involved only standard file types such as PDFs, images, and documents. I’m unsure if this restriction occurred as a result of the Make integration or prior to that. Could someone from Dropbox Support please clarify the cause of this restriction and how I can resolve it? Please feel free to email me if you need further details. Thank you in advance for your assistance.55Views0likes1Comment
